In the minds of many, bodybuilding is about nothing but disproportionately large muscles, protruding veins and big egos. I started my bodybuilding journey around the turn of the millennium. I had been a small guy all my life. I wanted to gain muscle mass. My initial goal was to look sexier to the women and more intimidating to the guys. Isn't that what all men want?? I was extremely determined to attain my goals and had plenty of time to do it. I hit the gym and tried all the chest and arm workouts I could think of. I was serious about this and my effort (I thought) showed. However, my first uneducated attempt at improving my physique got me absolutely nowhere. It didn't seem to matter how many bench presses and arm curls I did. After months of trying without any noticeable success, I was compelled to start a little research on how to achieve my goals. What started out as an afternoon on the net turned into years of research through books, magazines, and the internet. In putting all my newly acquired knowledge to the test (as I learned it),
I eventually started to understand, through my own personal experiences, what actually worked and what didn't.....whether that be workout related, diet related or even motivational techniques....
I have learned a lot about diet and weight training in the last 13 years and my goal is to put all of that knowledge out there to help others attain their personal goals.
